I've experienced being in the presence of that. The best thing to do is leave and never look back. You shouldn't engage it.
Yeah. My family still owns that house. They fixed it up and want me to come by and see it. No how. No way.
I consider myself pretty big and tough-by Joisey standards, not by Texans ;-)-and don't believe in the supernaural. Heck, I'm not even a religous man. But...that ...thing scared me to my core. I was wide awake and couldn't move a muscle. I was literally frozen with terror. I don't even like writing about it.
I'm 45 now and put a lot of tough miles under my belt, but if I came across that thing's path again, I would be the same petrified little boy I was that night.
