Hard to believe that was almost 30 years ago
You are surely right!!!
“Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Johnny Depp were among the top 10 celebrity “deaths” Googled by Australians - even though all are very much alive.”
Yeah, strange isn't it. But some how apropos that strange, hilarious movie. :)
lol
I predict there will be THREE MORE CELEBRITY DEATHS before the year is out!!!
Kevin McCarthy was a terrific actor. Although his leading man days didn’t last, he had a long career as a character actor.
hahahahaha...love a cool sense of humor in a man :)
Third straight year a “Golden Girl” passed away, if I were Betty White, I’d really be worried.
I recall an episode of Twilight Zone in which he played a college professor who taught history , and was particularly knowledgeable about the Civil War . He was in love with a younger woman whose father was suspicious of him . The father discovers that he ( McCarthy ) was actually an officer in the Cival War and never aged . In the end I think the father shot him and while he was dying he withered away into a 100+ year old man .
I remember that Twilight Zone episode featuring Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy admitted to the girl’s father that he, McCarthy, was old enough to have known Plato personally!
The girl’s father saw a picture of McCarthy in his Union Civil War officer’s uniform.
Also, it wasn’t the father who shot McCarthy....it was one of McCarthy’s former wives, who was a very elderly woman. After being shot, McCarthy rapidly ages as he lays on the floor dying, and eventually turns to dust.
Think I’ll watch it tonight ! I’ve got it on DVD . Cheers !
‘’Yes I know I’m right. And stop calling me Shirley’’ :-)
