Yeah, I realize I’m on thin ice . . . in my opinion, it should be possible to maintain that O’Donnell was weak without defending Castle.

Curious.

Are you always on the wrong side, of every issue?

I am not sure I would say she was weak, but she did have problems. It is hard for any conservative to win in Del. In the respect that a conservative will have a hard time winning in Del, then yes she could be called weak, look they kept sending Biden back so they have seriuous problems.

O’Donnel had may not have been a perfect canadite but she was worlds better than Castle, as deminstataed by his vote. We must rid ourselves of the Rino’s and this is done in the primaries. After the primaries we have to get behind the canidate and if they win hold their feet to the fire.

To dream the impossible dream?

To reach the unreachable star?

Or as Quixote once said to Panza, "Hey, Sancho, why are we fencing with all these windmills?"

However, Castle was seen as such an overwhelming candidate that Biden's son didn't want to run against him. So I'm not sure if a 'better' candidate would have come forward in this scenario. Now, RINO incumbents will be seen as beatable, and you will see better candidates step forward in 2012 for the primaries as a result.

You have to look at the entire picture here. Political change is seldom a linear process, but a series of wins and losses that over the long run adds up to real progress.
