Another note. Uninstall any programs you want to remove. Reboot and THEN run a cleaner. We find this works best on the 30 or so machines we have. Also look for silly little things that have crept in like additional toolbars etc. In addition we run Adaware and Spybot once a week and catch a bunch of garbage. Delete those things and then reboot and run CCleaner or the registry cleaner of your choice. Of course ALL of the precautions when opening the registry are relevant.
