Then why don’t the gubmint take it all?

If it was me leaving behind a big estate the gubmint was gonna take- I’d sell everything, get it all cashed out in $1 bills and have it burned.

No, no! That's NOT what you should do - insofar as that's like burning I.O.U.s. which other people (actually: the gov't) have written to you. By doing so, you would be increasing the value of their paper money (by reducing the overall amount of cash in circulation).

Instead, you should take your money, convert it into GOLD BULLION, and then heave the gold overboard over the Marianis Trench, where it could never be practically found and recovered.
