Much as your post alluded too, Jesus was critized for doing this because he was fellowshipping with sinners and low-lifes according to the scribes, pharisees and religious leaders of the day.

Sarah, trying to reach out to as many people as possible using this format and to let people see her as she really is without the crap filter that the Left, and potential competitors for POTUS try to apply to her is simply showing how much smarter she is than your boss, Haley Barbour, the GOP elite, and the Left.

The fact that she is increasing the amount of money she will need to run by getting 1 million dollars per episode is sheer genius.
