Western lawmakers are pushing bills in Congress that would declare the region’s 1,700 wolves recovered and no longer in need of federal protections.

That may be the only way to get around federal judges determined to protect wolves in Idaho/Mont/Wyo. However, such a bill, if passed, likely would not be signed; and if signed would promptly be stymied by a court injunction.

They should just trap and transport the wolves to the Mexican border areas to further the resistance to illegal invasion. I don’t think “coyotes” smuggling humans and drugs could compete with the wolves looking for food.

There’s been several articles in the last week about some Dems in Congress favoring delisting the CG wolf in the Northern Rockies and I find that very surprising. It’s not like Dems to go against the wishes of the enviro nazi groups and I believe there’s a lot more to this than is being made public.

The Mexican gray wolf thing is a joke, it’s become a huge money pit. The wolf and enviros are facing a steep uphill battle because the people down there don’t even bother with the shoveling part.

My guess is that Jon Tester and Max Baucus are posturing for their voters, but doing little in DC

You may very well be right but someone better start doing something fast cuz the people living with the wolves are fed up and rightly so.
