The only caribou I’ve had was made into jerky. It was soooooo gooood.

As a lifelong and consistently successful deer hunter I can say I've only had the chance to try caribou once, and it was DEEELISHUS. Friend of mine is a polar bear guard up at the oil fields and told me the only kind of meat that the natives like better up there is Dall Mountain Sheep, but they're a protected species, so not too many get eaten. Wish I could go up there and hunt, just once, but my huntin’ days are over. Just damn.
