I don't think anyone hates YEC. But, when someone says something so facially absurd as this guy did (who happens to be standing next to a Governor at an official press-conference), it's going to be met with absurdity.
Dinosaurs on Noah's Ark is about as facially absurd as it gets, especially when it's said in the context of a "museum".
