Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have put together a massive bill with hundreds of Wilderness and land lock up bills inside that have not yet passed the Congress in 2010.
Things are being done in secret. No bill number yet. Included will be all the Wilderness Bills, Billion Dollar LWCF Trust Fund, Corps and EPA Land and Water Jurisdiction Grab and many, many more.
Reid is going around to the Republicans and getting them to agree to sign on. You must make it clear to the Republicans that this vote is a threat to rural America and you and will be remembered forever.
When you call, do not threaten. Just make it clear that this is a terrible bill where they have lumped together hundreds of bills that no Senator has read completely.
Let them know you are telling all your neighbors, friends, allies, and business associates about the Omnibus Federal Lands Bill and will remember how they vote on this bill when you vote in the future.

The vote on this giant bill could come this week so call your Senators immediately. The vote may be delayed into next week. Make your calls every day. You cannot take a chance that Harry Reid will sneak the Omnibus Federal Lands Bill through in the dark of night.

By forwarding this message you can help create an uprising against the Omnibus Federal Lands bill that rears it ugly head in the Lame Duck Session of Congress put together by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
-----2. Call both your Senators at least once a day for the next two weeks. Tell them it is an insult to voters to have the Congress vote on a massive lands package with hundreds of bills that almost no Senator has read completely. Clearly Harry Reid did not get the message in November election.
Tell them you oppose the Omnibus Federal Lands Bill that will likely have the LWCF Trust Fund (S 3663) hidden inside. (They may change the bill number to fool you. Insist that they stop the LWCF Trust Fund).
They must also stop the Corps and EPA Wetlands Land Grab (HR 5088 and S 787). Any Senator may be called at (202) 224-3121. Their phones, faxes and e-mail machines must not stop ringing.
The Omnibus Federal Lands Bill will likely have a completely new number and have these bills inside.
Even if the Trust Fund and Corps EPA bills do not make it in the Omnibus Lands Bill, it still must be stopped. The 2010 Omnibus Lands Bill his a HUGE increase in Wilderness and land lock ups.
-----3. Your Senators must be deluged with calls, faxes and e-mails opposing the any Omnibus Lands Bill. That’s because it will include hundreds of Wilderness and other lands bills as well as the Billion Dollar LWCF Trust Fund (S 3663) and the Corps EPA Wetlands Water and Land Grab Bill (HR 5088 and S 787).
Your Senators and Congressman may vote for this bill when they ordinarily might oppose it because most of them have something in the package they want. Senator Reid does this on purpose. He puts a bill in that each Republican wants in order to buy their vote. It is the total package kills you.
You must tell your Senators and Congressman that any vote for any Omnibus Federal Lands Bill will be remembered and held against them forever.
-----The Omnibus Federal Lands Bill must not pass or you will lose in a huge way. If they do vote on the 2010 Omnibus Federal Lands Bill, we will send you a vote summary so you know what your Senator did. You need to tell the Senate staff you talk to that you will get a vote summary.
-----This Omnibus Lands Bill is the biggest threat to you since American Land Rights was founded. It is bigger even than CARA.

You must let any Congressman or Senator who votes for the likely Omnibus Federal Lands Bill know now, before the vote, that you will remember and he or she will be held accountable.
-----The Election is over and a whole lot of defeated Congressmen and Senators no longer need to pay attention to the voters in the Lame Duck Session of Congress that restarted November 29th. They still get to vote even though they were defeated or retired.
The Lame Duck Session of Congress is incredibly dangerous to you.
There must be an uprising of opposition to Congress passing any Omnibus Federal Lands Bill, Billion Dollar LWCF Land Acquisition Trust Fund and Corps and EPA Wetlands Water and Land Grab. They will likely be rolled into one package. It will be called The Omnibus Federal Lands Bill.
No bill number yet. But rural America and your future are on the line.
This must be an uprising of opposition. Because these are Democrat bills, you must make it clear that if these bills pass, the Democrats will suffer even more in 2012. Because they are largely Democrat bills, it is more likely that their outgoing sponsors will seek to shove them through the Lame Duck Session of Congress.
This is the most dangerous time for you. Any Congressman or Senator who is defeated for election or is retiring will no longer be accountable to the voters. Yet they still get to vote on your future in the Lame Duck session of Congress.
The likelihood of the Omnibus Federal Lands Bill passing in the Lame Duck is great. That bill is likely to include the Billion Dollar LWCF (S 3663) and the Corps EPA Wetlands Land and Water Grab Bill (HR 5088 and S 787).
Ask your Senator to filibuster the Omnibus Federal Lands Bill and the LWCF Trust Fund as well and Corps EPA Wetlands Land and Water Grab. He or she can also put a hold on it that will slow it down or stop it.
Even when Congress is out, their offices are open and they have staff there so keep your calls flooding their phones.
Nothing is more dangerous to you than a Lame Duck session. That is because many Congressmen and Senators have either lost their elections or have retired but still come back and vote.
They are no longer responsible to you.
