West Texax?!? I have an aunt in Pampa and an uncle in Amarillo.
Also cousins scattered all the way from Oklahoma City to Dallas. :)

We get snow here so seldom that if we get an inch of snow,
it is declared a school holiday.

Truly. A snow day ... out of school.

I loved what the guy from Minnesota said, ... there were no snow days off from school in Minnesota, how could you pick one? It you got one it would then be for most of the year.

We have dirt storms and dryness and few green things growing around out side of town, but winters are generally great. I lived in Amarillo and Oklahoma City. Both have serious winters ... part of the time. Deadly even. Few are prepared when traveling.
