Brit Hume, The Rise, Fall and Future of conservatism: Has anyone caught this series? They are looking at the Reagan presidency now, this has been an excellent series!

Saw it Thanksgiving Day. It was VERY good.
Part 4 was Sunday. I believe it is an 8-part series. It has been very good so far.
It’s very good, there are 6 parts, I think 4 have aired so far
I understand that the entire series is available for purchase on DVD.
I missed the 4th one...anyone know if there is a replay?
Probably sometime on Sunday
I’ve been enjoying it. Brit is a good reporter. It’s a kick seeing everyone so young and all the men when they still had hair, lol. Cheney in particular.
Yeah, what’s amazing is Arthur Laffer has barely changed since the 80’s and Donald Rumsfeld had a full head of dark hair.
One of the interesting things I didn’t realize was how much of an integral role that William F Buckley had in the Reagan administration.
They will probably have all episodes sometime during the slower days around Christmas and New Year’s Day (and it’s 6 part instead of 8)
The fall of conservatism will be with the social conservatives — open attacks on religion by the atheists, more Hollywood tripe and vulgarity (e.g., Team America), more of a freewheeling, pagan, anything goes lifestyle. Fiscal conservatives will always be around because taxes will always be around. But for the rest? Easy morality for easy times.
thanks
