The end of your post reminds me of a bit done by comic Judy Tenuta in which she imitates Yoko: “kiss kiss kiss don’t worry don’t worry don’t worry...don’t start a warrrrrrrlrllll...don’t go to warrrrrrrrrrrrllll..I’m sorry, but if that guy (Mark David Chapman) had just aimed a little to the left...he’d have been a hero!”
LOL. I know it’s not nice to think such thoughts, but truly bad music can have that effect on people. Just consider: if John Lennon had lived, today he’d be 70 years old, sporting a white ponytail and writing incoherent songs about Global Warming. Is that really how we’d want to remember him? Look at his old chum McCartney, who survived to become a plastic-faced 65-year old vegan billionaire with a preposterous teenage haircut.
