Try turning your cell phone off/on, or unplugging the USB then plug it back it. That will usually start up a download session and activate the software.

Firstensure the Usb cableisconnected to both your phone and the PC. Then on your PC open “My Computer” you should see the name of your phone under the devices window. Simply double click the device to brouse for your files. Find your files and then drag and drop them to your PC.

The slimy bastages at Verizon have disabled USB transfer of pictures. You have to email the pictures to get them off of the phone.

Have you loaded a program such as bitpim to help you navigate the phone’s directories? It’s a free program and you already have the driver so you should be all set.

Shouldn't the phone show up in the Windows Explorer on the left pane (Folders)?

Or maybe if your phone has a Micro SD card you could plug it in to a USB port using an adapter. I have one and do simple transfers that way. I have an LG VX8600 and mostly use BitPim with my cable for transfers of Pics and homemade ringtones.

I have a Verizon phone plan and the only way I can download pictures is to Send the pictures to my Verizon page online photo album. So it’s a button function on my phone when I access my collection of pictures on the phone. It’s listed under Options.
