I was also considering buying from my Japanese pal about getting the DVD version of the 2010 Yamato Revival movie but he told me later that the encoded H264 version is already out on the torrents so that could save me money.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I was just looking into when we could expect a N. American release for Yamato Revival on Blu-ray and it brought me to this FR post, guess it is a small world after all :)

Didn't answer my question but did find me some fellow anime fans on FR LOL.

Finally got around to watching the 1080p BR rip of Revival and that was very nice quality (given it was an almost 11GB file I'm glad it was!) but I always buy anything I liked so looking forward to the blu-ray release here :)

No probs, bud. I work in Hollywood and volunteer my time for a fansub group on the karaoke and timing of the subs ONLY if the anime is worth it and interesting. (No Naruto LOL). I turned down the sub group currently handling Bleach releases because I have a heavy workload right now.
