Just who are these people who do the "squirrel stew" thing? What you do after dressing out the meat is take the pieces, slather them with milk, then roll them in cornmeal and fry them in an iron skillet.

Corn meal goes great with squirrel, much better than flour. Stews should have corn in them too.
