I was talking to a business guy I know in a southern state. We were talking about the economy. He is pretty straight and does not talk to much off topic stuff. He said pretty much don’t worry about the south because everyone he knows is ammo’ed up, armed to the teeth and they are just waiting.
I almost fell off my chair then said “hell yeah!”
Sadly for me - all my guns and ammo were lost in a boating accident. I just have baseball bat and a “gun free zone” sign to protect me. ;-)

He’s right. I’m friends with many of the LEO’s in my county and they constantly make remarks about how many guns and how much ammo people down here own and have accumulated. They think it’s great. Very low crime here and they know they have a lot of back up should they need it if the SHTF.
