Now, I gotta tell you, a couple of years ago Arlo Guthrie was interviewed on national TV. I believe it was by 60 Minutes for a Woodstock anniversary, but I could be wrong about that.

Anyway, Arlo turned out to be very conservative in his responses! No way a liberal. It surprised the interviewer, and it sure surprised me.

"Country Joe," who sang, "one two three, what the hell we fighting for, don't ask me I don't give a damn, next stop is Viet Nam..." was invited to perform in Viet Nam during a celebration of the anniversary of America's withdrawal. He declined and explained that Vietnamese citizens cannot protest against the North Vietnamese the way he protested against his own government.

Thanks for the info. I stand corrected. My guess is as a boy Arlo may have seen what scum his dad’s pal Pete Seeger is. Woody was less of a lefty than Seeger. Seeger is filth.
