For the sixth time in five months, there's been gunfire during a South Knox County home robbery.
The latest incident, Monday night, involved a woman shooting and killing a man with a lengthy criminal history during a home invasion robbery after the intruder had struggled with and shot her husband, authorities said Tuesday.
A second interloper escaped, apparently uninjured, and was being sought by police.

A couple of people who have posted to the newspaper account have said that the home was a known drug house. Don't know if their info is accurate, but it does seem that these home invaders frequently target drug dealers.
All I know for sure is, if they come to my house they won't get money or drugs, but they might add to their portfolio of metal holdings.

In the Dallas area this morning officers responded to shots at a home, they found the homeowner wounded and the burgler dead. The report said the homeowner will recover from his injury.
