By the time she picks her running mate, it will be too late; unless you are saying you’d vote 3rd-party, or vote for Obama, or stay home after getting Palin nominated for President, simply because of who she picked as VP.

Good point. I should have thought that through before posting. However, in full disclosure, during the last election I was prepared to vote 3rd party rather than cast a vote for McCain. I endured all the slings and arrows of those who would, and did, blame an Obama/Clinton victory on people like me. My skin is thick, I could take it. It was only because of McCain's incredible selection for a running mate that I changed my mind, held my nose, and cast my vote for him -- or, more appropriately, for Palin. Likewise, it is conceivable that Palin could make a choice so poor in choosing a running mate, that once again my mind would change and I'd vote 3rd party. Possible ... though unlikely. Still, there is precedent for just that.
