Telling the television audience that a win would be a huge middle finger to all those who hate her mother and who hate her is neither gracious or lady-like.

However, it is completely true, and it says more about them than it does about Bristol.

I wish she hadn’t said that about giving the middle finger to all her haters. I think she improved a lot and did great for a real amateur which Kyle and Jennifer were neither. Something tells me though that she and her sister Willow are going to bring some not so positive attention on the Palin family based on their facebook posts during Sarah Palin’s Alaska. That being said I couldn’t stand Jennifer . She’s a drama mama and probably gets it naturally from her Broadway dad.

It was a “No Contest” for Grey from the start who was perfect in every dance.

From what I've heard, it didn't keep her from whining and making excuses.

If she really had those injuries, I’d guess she was full of steroids before performing

LOL after reading all these comments and comments from an earlier post about the dancing show. Thankfully, Bristol knows how to lose with class and dignity. That can’t be said for any of her fans here on Free Republic. Too funny. :-)

Sorry, just a misunderstanding or miscommunication by the media.

When she said ruptured disk, she meant that the CD player kept ejecting her CD DISK, and so she couldn’t use the music she had prepped with, and that might cause her not to win.

For someone who has won each competition, she sure whines a lot.

I heard her say SOMETHING about the behavior of those who hate her and her family, but I did not hear any part of it to include anything about a “middle finger”. -
I did hear that Bristol had driven FIVE DAYS cross country to get out there to participate in DWTS, though. I guess flying for her is a nightmare, especially now.

The drama queen won because she got the anti-Palin vote.

Dancing With the Stars originally wanted Todd Palin!! After he refused they asked Bristol. I can’t imagine Todd dancing or hanging out in this fake setting!!

Get over the Romney stuff already, some of you guys are as deranged as the posters on the DWTS forum. She said it at the beginning of the show when they were doing the after dance comments from Monday night. My wife and I were both surprised by the comment, but laughed and agreed we were happy to see she was fed up with the crap she had been taking for 10 weeks. This last week Bristol’s public persona changed considerably. She became much more combative and confident, and by extension danced 3 of her 4 best dances. I imagine that the comment from Sarah prior to last weeks performance may have something to do with it. She was caught on tape telling Bristol, They’re going to hate you anyway so just go out dance and have fun.”

If she takes anything away from this experience you hope it is a renewed confidence in herself and the knowledge that you have to be yourself and not worry about what the world thinks of you.

(or close to it)

I have to agree with you 100%. I thought I was hearing things, but then played it back and was kind of shocked. In her defense, though, I am certain that if anyone else said it, it would have been edited out.

It’s just a GAME SHOW, designed to keep you occupied with mindless and meaningless entertainment while selling you laundry detergent.
