This is what a campaign is for. Politics is not static. People change...minds change.

And the purpose of a campaign is for a candidate to make the case for themselves. To allay any previously conceived false notions...to instill a sense of purpose, determination, drive, passion and patriotism... to articulate a vision for America.

If/when Palin announces, she goes from speculative candidate to candidate. That will automatically change her stature. Then as she campaigns, people will see her wearing her “candidate” hat, traveling across the country laying out the case for Sarah Palin.

Either she makes it successfully and is nominated...or she doesn’t, and she backs someone else.

But for anyone to decide two years out that anyone is or isn’t electable when no one has had one day as an actual nominee strikes me as silly. I don’t understand why some folks feel the need to I guess dissuade her or anyone from running.

Let them all run and let the one who makes the best case win. You can see by my tagline who I want it to be but if not her, let that person be a solid constitutional, common sense conservative.

I agree with all you’ve said. Furthermore yours is the most intelligent post on this thread.

The only thing I’ll take issue with is I get the feeling you believe I might be among those who would disuade her from running. The exact opposite is the truth.

The thread was posted regarding how she would overcome certain issues. I see that there are some issues in the public mind that will probably need to be addressed. I only have been seeking FReeper input on how they can be addressed.
