Between the barn, indoor arena and the fencing in those pastures that place would have horsey folk drooling. However, most of us are horse poor so we can’t afford the house with the aquarium in the kitchen. Or want a house with an aquarium in the kitchen.
If I won the lottery tomorrow, I wouldn’t want this house, much less an aquarium in the kitchen. Maybe it kept the kids occupied while the cook was making breakfast. I will say that having horses usually keeps one so busy and so tired that there isn’t much time for watching the fish, however beautiful and calming they might be.
Having an enormous aquarium has been a fashion in upscale New York apartments for the past several years, but when maintenance costs run into six figures per year, they’re falling out of favor with some. This might have been Sheryl’s modest effort to embrace that trend.
