I love reading these threads, which there were 20,000,000,000,000 threads on them. Taking a life is a serious matter.
Protecting loved ones is also a serious matter.
My main point is that some people think that buying a gun and having it around prepares them for killing someone. Nothing could be further from the truth. Many people are simply not equipped to take a life when it comes right down to it. As an old Gunny told me once. “It is real embarrassing to get shot with your own gun.”
