“Great band....several hits and many memories.... ****sigh****”

I saw them live in Anchorage once — around 1990, I guess. Excellent concert!

I’ve actually been caught singing the 59th Street Bridge song as I’m driving along. Kids look at me like I’m some kinda nut.

Same here! We just sing a little louder:) Then the kids slide down in their seats and mumble, "Oh, I hope nobody can see me in here." LOL!

When Mickey Gilley and his cousins Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimmy Swaggart...

I never knew they were cousins. Learn something new every day. Isn't Jerry Lee Lewis the one that married one of his cousins?

Lovin’ these links, abb!

For some reason, Gayle McCormik’s, It’s A Cryin Shame brings this one to mind:

IIRC, this song was banned on some stations when it first came out:

I don’t think you ever posted a David Garrett link or I missed it.

Non-Sequitur, I'm shocked you didn't say anything about this song being dedicated to you?

We haven’t done concerts since our “younger” days, but we did go see David Garrett @ the college in Fayetteville last year. Not a big crowd so I could handle it. I’d go see him again if it’s a very small auditorium. This guy is amazing w/a violin. You won’t regret listening to this one.

You have to listen to the whole performance and tell me who this reminds you of.....LMAO! The song on the album is a pretty catchy tune, much better than this live version, but you’ve just gotta listen to this to get the full effect.
