Prosecutors in Utah, who have been investigating potential bigamy charges against Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and his four wives, have a message for fans of the TLC reality show: stay tuned.
"We're in no rush to get this filed," says Donna Kelly, a deputy county attorney for Utah County. "You can expect a decision in the next 60 to 90 days."

Is there still a ping list for these articles?
Anyone surprised the Utah officials aren’t in a hurry to clamp down on this bunch?
Why clamp down on them at all? I don’t get what makes this illegal. As far as I’m concerned, the gov’t should only recognize one marriage - otherwise there’s all sorts of potential for fraud - but if some guy wants to consider himself married to three other chicks, who cares?
Lots of reason, not the least of which is that many of these “families” are on welfare, because one guy can’t support that many people. Then there’s the abuse factor, the child rape, and how they treat their sons. Horrible lifestyle.
MizSterious is right, obviously you know nothing of polygamy in Utah, and creatures like Warren Jeffs. If you did, you’d have a whole different outlook...
Even talking to some Mormon friends (with only one wife), I still don’t know where the illegal part is here.
Did they actually go down and get a marriage license?
Otherwise if they are only married in the church, but without a license, is it a legal marriage, or are they just living together?
My wife watches this show and even she’s not sure.
Anyone know?
Polygamous marriages wouldn’t exist at all if the spouses were equal, the women would gang up and henpeck the idiot guy to death the first time he left his socks on the bedroom floor.
Romney’s father George was born into polygamy.
One, this guy IS supporting that many people. So that argument is bye bye.
Second, no one has alleged any kind of abuse. That argument, out the window.
All these women are adults, so their goes your child rape boogeyman.
If you think the lifestyle is horrible, that's your right. Don't participate in it.
But these people are neither picking your pocket nor breaking your legs. It is quite simply none of your business how these consenting adults chose to order their lives.

Here are a few referenced quotes, verifiable at the BYU Library website. The church hides things like this from members so Mormons will say I'm lying.
Apostle Orson Hyde:
I discover that some of the Eastern papers represent me as a great blasphemer, because I said, in my lecture on Marriage, at our last Conference, that JESUS CHRIST WAS MARRIED at Cana of Galilee, THAT MARY, MARTHA, AND OTHERS WERE HIS WIVES, AND THAT HE BEGAT CHILDREN. (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 2, page 210)
Brigham Young, answering critics who claimed polygamy as a relic of barbarism:
Yes, one of the relics of Adam, of Enoch, of Noah, of Abraham, of Isaac, of Jacob, of Moses, David, Solomon, the Prophets, OF JESUS, AND HIS APOSTLES. (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 11, page 328)
Brigham Young:
The Scripture says that He, the LORD, came walking in the Temple, with HIS TRAIN; I do not now who they were, unless HIS WIVES AND CHILDREN;... (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 13, page 309)
It will come out that the “family” is receiving food stamps and other free, taxpayer-paid services. Just because you don’t see it on a “reality” show, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
Prove it.
