How do they assemble those? There’s no crane that’ll reach that high.

Crane is small and goes up with it. There was an awesome show on a while back about changing the antenna on one of the super tall towers, I get the heebee geebees just thinking about it!

Helicopters are the easy way.

They use a Gin Pole to assemble the towers that are taller than a crane will allow.

I have been at 1,350 ft. on a 1,550 structure. The station was in operation during our work. Glad we were not closer to the Commercial antenna array. (field density)
