Here in Massachusetts, under MA General Law you can kill a dog if it is going after your livestock. I know cause I have chickens and I looked up and read the law.
And this is in Massachusetts!
I think that is the law here in GA too, but the dog owners made a big stink and the sheriff's dept did something to quite them down 20 voters vs 1 voter I guess.
Same in Michigan but it has to be hoofed animals...had a neighbor that shot another neighbors dog while it was in his turkey pen, killing turkeys. The neighbor saw it and it cost him 2000 dollars...turkeys are not hoofed animals...too bad the owner saw him shoot it...Its best to shoot, shovel and shut up...
