This is total insanity. I've had breast cancer, there is no way I'm going through one of those machines. I've been molested as a child. There is no way I'm going to allow someone to molest me again, include a government agency. Do they have any idea of the physiological implications of what they are doing?
My hubby says, well then don't fly. He has a point. I'd hate to do this to my elderly mother, God forbid she get sick and want me home quickly, it takes 21 hours to drive home. But, I can not bring myself to allow someone to do this to me or my family.
While the TSA is busy molesting much of the American population, terrorist are crossing our unprotected borders.
And the drug cartels of Mexico.
Terrorists are laughing at the USA making a fool of itself, molesting, stripping, exposing, touching, laughing over innocent citizens’ private parts. Meanwhile, they are looking for an opening in all this. If the savage is going to blow himself up in 25 minutes, he is not going to care if you feel him up.
This whole thing is one big joke, and the joke is on us.
I’m sitting here watching TV, the news, surfing the net and seeing where the country is in a complete panic, full-blown meltdown over the TSA pat down brouhaha…
From the outside it would appear the country is ready to revolt against this “gross overreach”, “illegal”, “unwarranted” and “excessive” violation of people rights.
To all that I say, ok… Great! bout time.
But why now, why the TSA and why the outrage over procedures that you voluntarily place yourself into. You must first buy an airline ticket, then travel to the airport (if the cops don’t nail you first), next check in then patiently and willingly wait in a line to be subjected to these measures. Yet folks are outraged?
It passes all logic and understanding…
To be brutalized, tortured, harassed, illegally searched, detained, arrested, beaten, tazed and even murdered by the government in this country all you have to do is step outside your home or in many cases just waking up will do the trick.
The police will happily oblige you.
It just amazes me, here the country is in full blown meltdown and yet they refuse to acknowledge the criminal acts committed by the local police and federal law enforcement many, many, many times a day all across this country.
We are truly a country of brainwashed masses, Orwell would be proud.
1 of 2 things will flow from the TSA scanning/patdowns:
1. The US Govt will say to Muslims, “See, the entire US population is submitting to the enhanced security screening. So will you.” They will try this...
2. The policy collapses when CAIR goes to federal court on behalf of Muslim women who refuse to be frisked or scanned.
How fast do we get to #2? And once there, will the entire misguided plan get repealed?
Ahhh, but, some people already had their plane tickets before this happened. And as one woman said, she was touched in places you shouldn’t touch with out at least telling the person what your about to do. She’d already bought her plane ticket way before this happened and knew nothing about the new policy. Some people have no choice but to fly. And I would think that some would think no biggie until they have to under go one of these molestations.

Wrong! American are not fools. They are standing up for their rights as they should.
The only ones laughing/mocking/ridiculing are the government goons on both the right and the left who are manipulating things and taking advantage of events so they can take more of our freedoms away, every time - playing groups of people against each other, the right/left, Christian/Secular, Muslim/Non-muslim etc.
Nice try but no cigar. Few planes fall from the sky does not equal/warrant any of this crapola and you all know it. Don't ya?

Here is my plan.. When I Opt Out they will be asked the following
Where is your probable cause?
You really want touch me? - go ahead and I will have you arrested for assault
Last time I checked it was against the law to grope an American citizen against their will, what say you?
When it is likely that an white female Okie will blow up a plane then you can search me, OK?
Can I have the your name and badge number as well as the name and number of the head of security at this facility so I will know who to name in the lawsuit?

I like that one!!!! What will they do if everyone refuses to go through the x-ray machine? They would have people so lined up for frisking, it would wear out the molester and just about everyone would miss their flight. That would mess TSA up good.
Getting the name and badge number: easier said than done. I’ve noticed that at LAX, a lot of the TSA people have covered up their name with an unnumbered badge. I’ve actually asked for names and badge numbers in the past, and been flatly refused.

Bingo, and this is just for adults on their own recognizance. Flying with children is an entirely new level of visceral reaction and psychological impact potential. I suspect this will be more unpleasant in general for females than for males, also.
Also, only a small % of the US population flies, and a much smaller % flies frequently. I suspect a disproportional percent of those in favor don’t fly at all.
The openly asked questions about the safety of the backscatter device is of a level that the3 machine could NEVER be deployed in a medical setting without such issues being clearly and exhaustively answered, yet tens/hundreds of thousands of flyers are being irradiated daily with no publicly reviewed data on the device, and open questions (and letters) from radiologist/cancer specialists about the use of entire body mass to calculate the dosage of x-ray when the rays only impact a small % of the body (skin and near-skin).
Folks who are letting their kids go through these machines, with the present information available, are potentially cutting time off their children’s lives.
This is just the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. Without all the abuses over the years, esp the past two, people would be upset, but nothing like this...
Yea the children is what really bothers me. Can you imagine being 12 years old and going through this? And the x-rays, they don’t even know how safe they are. I think it would or could physiologically mess up a kid.
It is not just the airports anymore. They now have these at courthouses. Word is they are going in at DMV locations as well.
Oh my gosh!!!! What a huge waste of money, time and worst of all our freedom.
Last year, without any violence whatsoever, the county started posting three armed sheriffs deputies at all DMV locations. Their propaganda is that violence “might happen”. They now are saying they “need” these machines to “prevent terrorism”.
Then they're either going to have to change the laws, or somebody is going to get a good look at a lot of concealed carries. You're allowed to carry at the DMV.
Well, you’re right, which means expect they want to change the law: No firearms in government buildings.
