I live in Illinois but you won’t see that on my home page. I joined the Illinois message board and the Illinois flag appeared on my home page. Then a few Illinois people on the board got “copy and paste” happy and started posting extremely long posts which had to be scrolled through to get to news/activism on the main page. Perhaps that has changed by now.
I could not figure out how to opt out of the message board but did manage to learn how to change it to something else. I changed it to the Congo and guess what? So far not one message to scroll through to get to what I want to read.
I’m not trying to mislead anyone. Someone tell me in fairly simple terms how to opt out of any message board and still fly a state flag, I’ll do it.
I’m not sure how you would opt out of the message board, maybe if you contact admin and they can help you out?
Also, if you go under your account to manage blocks you can set up how your FR pages are dislayed eg, my local messages appear in the right hand collumn rather than the top of the page.
