I don’t think any animal knows what size it actually is. I had a toy fox terrier terrify my 300lb mastiff, those 4 chihuahuas cornered that mountain lion in the garage, this cat runs off two alligators.
I’ve had 3 lb hens kick my ass when trying to put feed and water near their brood, tiny hornets terrorize me until either a cap or a spray of raid evens it up, I’ve seen bluejays and mockingbirds beat the ***t out of big cats.
Guess it’s all in the attitude.

Every watch hummingbirds. They are the most ferocious - chase off my cat with no hesitation. But they are afraid of hornets who also like the feeder.
Geese terrify me. Do they even have teeth? They ran me out of a public park once.
