He and Richie Rich seem to be in a war for that honor.

Wow, that’s $78 million down the drain.
Does the Redskins’ ownership understand the concept of the draft? Good teams build through the draft and pick a few key free agents to fill important roles. The ‘skins seem draft to fill their practice squad, then staff the rest of the team with castoffs, malcontents and no-talents.

“””McNabb, who will turn 34 later this month, agreed to an extension just two weeks after he was benched at the end of a loss to the Lions because coach Mike Shanahan said the quarterback didn’t have a grasp of the team’s 2-minute offense.””””
So he sucks, can’t beat the Lions yet he is worth another 80 mill??? How much would a GOOD qb be worth?
It’s stories like this that made me swear off professional sports years ago. Bunch of over paid crybabies.
To: mainepatsfan
More white guilt. This is nothing more than reparations for being benched a week or two ago.

That white guilt is something else!

McNabb is just about the most over rated QB in the NFL
I guess more power to him if he can get guaranteed 40 mil from stupid people.

OK, so I'm a spoiled New England fan, loving every minute of this foolishness.
Thank God for Bill Belichick, the greatest coach in the history of professional football (and the record to prove it). He would not put up with McNabb, he'd ship him to Minnesota or someplace for a third-round draft pick which he'll groom into a hall-of-famer.

well the owner had a perfectly good black qb last year but he got traded to another team...funny how well the Oakland team is doing this year...
its like the Mariners....you can bring in all the players in the world but if its a bad organization its just a bad organization....

I’m not down on McNabb like the vast majority of Freepers seem to be, but do the Redskins actually think McNabb, with his injury history, is going to be playing when he’s 39?
