Since Catholicism (to the best of my knowledge) teaches full grace, I see it as generally Christian. Since Mormonism teaches Grace with “some assembly required” I see it as leaving out the cornerstone of the faith. It is the tenets of Christianity sans the basic tenet upon which all the others must stand.

Can't say I understand this - Catholicism teaches definite behaviors are required to achieve salvation. If this is being separated from "Grace," then what good is Grace without salvation?

I did say “to the best of my knowledge”. If what you say is true, then Catholicism is not Christian. But that is a big “if”.
