First T’day recipe recommendation. Do not invite any people, including relatives, that have caused trouble in previous years.
Go to Safeway and buy the complete dinner for however many. Eat drink and be happy. Easy clean-up and the chef gets a break. Other than that do anything Alton Brown says to do.

Do not invite any people, including relatives, that have caused trouble in previous years. A Thanksgiving tradition...NO democrats under the roof. Actually; that's kind of a 24/7/365 tradition, as well.

That should be at the beginning of every recipe for a great holiday. Let the troublemakers have their own get-together.
Works for me! Been doing that for about 4 years now and I really enjoy the holidays a lot more. No stress, just fun!
Now that’s “Good Eats!”.
