Strange to see this subject after talking to my daughter in law just this morning about what gifts to buy the grand kids. She suggested books to help the 3 yr old to read. He absolutely adores books and she constantly takes him to the library. Funny he has his own card...thought that was cute...anyway she suggested that I go to consignment stores, thrift shops and the goodwill and find some older books. Since they'll probably be donated in the future I thought it was a great idea. I will be in the hunt for some good books my kids used to read and hopefully I'll find some old fashion good reading books as well. With money being tight I was very grateful to hear she didn't mind at all that those books would come from there. Bless her heart!
