I defer to Winston Churchill.

A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject.

True genius resides in the capacity for evaluation of uncertain, hazardous, and conflicting information.

You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on.

The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.

Maybe it's because I'm old and cranky, but I can't go over a minute attempting to have a conversation with someone who basks in their ignorance. Attempting to have a five minute discussion would be hell on earth, especially if I were conversing with a Voter in my home State of California. Well, at least now I can say I was part of this thread. LOL
