The tea party brought lots of gains for the House and state legislatures. But people want experienced candidates for the Senate. Eventually the state representatives will build themselves up and move up the ladder. For example, Rubio was speaker of the house in Florida. He wasn’t just some guy coming out nowhere who wanted to be Senator.

plus, she was already a loser, having lost before. losers rarely win once they have lost, just my view. same with rossi in washington. why nominate a loser re-tread?

Like Johnson in Wisconsin who had never held office before?

If the Delaware GOP and rove hadn’t attacked COD after the primary thus opening the door for otherwise non-credible attacks from Bill Mahrer,) COD could have been a serious candidate. She was taken seriously during the primary. She was tossed out before she even gave an acceptance speech.

Candidates can come from all kinds of backgrounds. Lower office, business, military, conservative interest groups. Somehow relying only on former office holders and lawyers hasn’t worked out all that well in the past.

I’m sure defeated democratic senator Russ Feingold would completely agree with you. Ron Johnson should give up his win right now because Wisconsin really didn’t want an unknown like him to win anyway.

So you think Rubio won in Florida because he was speaker of the Florida house? Name me the current speaker of the Florida House. Most people in this state outside of Tallahassee can’t do it. Rubio won because he ran as an conservative. Republicans knew that Orange RINO Crisp, member of the GOP - Gay Old Party, friend of Karl “Tokyo” Rove and the RNC was not a conservative.

The truth of the whole thing is this. The Tokyo Rove wing of the party is a dead old party. No one wants to fight for it. It would not have won anything on its own. The only reason there is any life in it is due to the work of the TEA Parties. Those elitist, cocktail swilling, country club dwelling, RINOs need to shut their mouths now. If they and their mouthpieces around the country keep up their trashing of conservatives, new people like Ron Johnson will come out of the woodwork and have TEA Party organizers who are much more experienced than last election. They won’t believe that the liars at the RNSC will support republican candidates other than their hand picked and hand groomed proteges. When the going gets rough, they won’t have to look to them for election expertise that will never be forthcoming. The TEA Parties will have their own.

If the RNC does not get with the program, they and their dying tired group will be left behind. There are a number of RINOs up for re election in 2012. If they keep up the ridiculous attacks, the stupid party will be minus a number of long time republican senators because in the primaries, the TEA Party rules. If they want to play princess lisa/ Gaytime Charlie Crisp rules, there is going to be a war. We are fighting for our country, our families and our children. Those traitors are just fighting for their power.
