But Doug Richardson, the editor of Janes Missiles and Rockets, examined the video for the Times of London and said he was left with little doubt.
Its a solid propellant missile, he told the Times. You can tell from the efflux [smoke].

If there’s a conspiracy here I immediately think of Cass Sunstein and his ideas about planting conspiracy theories to distract or discredit opposition.
Personally I think it looks like lots of jets I see coming over the horizon. In fact I was keeping an eye out tonight for my own “missile Launch” photos but conditions weren’t right for producing contrails. I did see one of those “braided contrails” earlier today.
I asked in another thread how many ships and boats must have been off of that coast and why none on those vessels reported a missile launch in their midst.
