So, are you saying that if a unexplained and suspected rocket launch happened off our coast no government agency would care? This isn’t 15 minutes or even an hour later, it has been over 24 hours and no explanation at all, other than maybe a jet. Sure it is most likely a jet, but still provide an iota of proof.

The military alone should have invested the manpower, resources, and are certainly capable of doing the math. Dozens of Departments in Homeland security? I don’t know who, but it is silly to let a story like this linger. It undermines confidence in the government.

It's not a suspected rocket launch. NORAD and DOD have specifically ruled out a rocket launch. DOD for ours, NORAD for all others. And NORAD has ruled out any threat. They are done with it except for having to answer questions from the curious.

It's not their priority to identify non-threatening, not rocket, contrails. They happen all the time.
