In the early 60s
It's was more like the late 60's, probably early 70s. I can't recall the exact year either, but, I know that I started working in Wall Street in the late 60s (late 1968) and I remember the incidents you speak of.

You might be right....I was at NYU from 64-68, and think it was during that time..but I clearly rememebr the front pages of the tabloids..literally thousands of guys standing around waiting for this poor woman to come up the staircase from the subway to the street level, it made the local TV news for a few days also...and IIRC, she wasn’t very attracive..just seemed to have a HUGE chest..I’ve tried to Google it..with no luck...
