Hmmm. So cancer feeds on sugar, hydrogenated oil, and partially hydrogenated oil. That is what this professor ate all day. More power to him, but no thanks from me. Also, I have PCOS so the only way I lose weight is following a low GI diet. I just think the low GI diet is a healthy lifestyle. I don’t care about what the government created food pyramid says.
Also, my husband and 2 yo son eat this way as well since that is how I cook. Thank goodness my husband is a health nut! You should see how long it takes us to grocery shop, with both of us reading labels for hydrogenated oils, soy, and MSG! We are healthier for this, overall. We rarely get sick and our son is better behaved than other children. We ordered applesauce for him at Applebees on a rare dinner out and he was a mess the rest of the evening. He was throwing tantrums, didn’t want to listen to us, wouldn’t go to bed, etc. I called Applebees and the manager read the applesauce ingredients to me: high fructose corn syrup.
