This is just as stupid as the guy who ate nothing but McDonald’s food.

There is no magic to dieting. When calories in < calories spent, you lose weight. Sure you can lose weight on twinkies, but you can also foul up your system.

“His premise: That in weight loss, pure calorie counting is what matters most — not the nutritional value of the food. “

His premise explains that. He is not looking at nutrition or “what is good for the body” he is purely looking at weight loss.

What I found more interesting was that his good cholesterol went up and his bad cholesterol went down. How can that possibly be???

The robber drug companies that make Lipitor and Crestor are not going to like the results of this man’s experiment.

Someday people will wonder why we paid so much attention to high cholesterol, particularly when the results of long-term use of these drugs increase the chance of dementia. I’d much rather die of a heart attack than Alzheimer’s.

The famous one who ate the McDonald’s food pigged out on Big Macs, egg McMuffins and soft drinks the whole time, taking in a huge number of calories every day along with massive amounts of fat and sugar. He did get sick. But this was a big stunt to publicize his girlfriend’s vegan detox business.

There was another guy who also ate at McDonald’s for a month. He ate moderately and varied his diet to include the salads, milk, juice, fruit, etc. He lost weight and was quite healthy by the end.
