>>Once an addiction counselor, Kosilek was convicted of killing of his wife. He dumped the body in a car outside a local shopping mall and went missing. Kosilek was ultimately captured in New Rochelle, NY. In 1993, while in prison, he legally changed his name to Michelle. "Michelle" sued the State of Massachusetts sued the state twice in recent years to get the funds for his gender reassignment operation. Discovering he is beat and won't get sympathy or aid from anyone, he has now threatened to kill himself if no one caves in to his arrogant request. >>Perhaps, Ms. Michelle, when you killed your wife because she supposively poured boiling water on your genitals, she should have poured acid on them instead. Then, we wouldn't be discussing this ludicrous story! Massachusetts Correction Commissioner KathleenKathleen Dennehy has said that if Kosilek has the surgery, prison officials believe Kosilek could end up being a target of sexual assault in prison. She reiterates that if given his way, it would be a huge safety and security concern (housing a male that's turning into a female would be absurd and profound). The bold and ridiculous request would cost taxpayers much more than just money as the case would open up a breach in penal sanctions. Imprisonment would be completely redefined, in a time where law abiding citizens grapple with basic necessities and economic oppression. >>It is estimated that sex-change operations are in the $10,000 to $20,000 range. Sen. Bruce E. Tarr of Gloucester, Mass., has filed legislation barring the state from paying for the sex reassignment surgeries.
