I think that Obama doesn’t get it, because in his mind, it’s so obvious that Obamacare and socialism are what is needed to cure all of the ills of society. And in his mind, anyone who doesn’t agree is not thinking straight, or not thinking clearly due to fear about the future, or clinging to a gun or religion due to their fears.

In the liberal mind, their policies are the only reasonable possible solution to society’s problems. Anyone who doesn’t get it is either uneducated, in which case the liberal feels pity for him/her, or else opponents are just not thinking through the issues properly to come to the conclusion that liberalism is the answer to all problems.

Well said. Obama told the moveon crowd he was, in essence, going to double down on his plans to make us the USSA.

Yes, he has such ideals and goals, but it’s much worse than it seems on the surface.

He’s an Alinsky-ite and he’s pulled out all the stops — including the mocking and ridicule as you mentioned.

But he has also made use of:
**The iron fist of a dictator [cramming unconstitutional bills down our throats]
**Scare tactics [done in order to implement TARP]
**Carrot and stick maneuvers [i.e., cash/clunkers, extended unemployment benefits, stimulus, etc.]
**A complicit dem-controlled congress and senate [not to mention their good old lap-dog, the MSM]
**Class warfare/infighting [Wall Street vs Main Street]
**Instigating racial tensions [way too much to mention]

All of this, and more, has been done in order to seize control over us and our economy — basically to bring us to our knees.

The monstrosity known as zerocare [have to read it to know what’s in there] is just an instrument to get him to his ultimate goal — a “balanced” America, where elites rule [play golf, eat whatever they like, fly/drive whatever they like, take glorious family vacations] - and the rest of us are told we must sacrifice and come under subjection.

Many Americans have already lost most of their savings, our homes have lost value, our businesses are failing — yet they want even more of our livelihoods. There soon won’t be a middle class if they get their way - because that isn’t “fair” — but there will be lots of serfs in “Obamerica.”

This is utopia to him and his regime and it is their ultimate goal - and notice they’re taking their casualties from the “Bloodbath of 2010” in stride - all for the cause it seems.

We’ve witnessed every bit of this - and more - in just 2 years’ time.
