Would it not be easier to list the things that the Obamaloon does get?

That shortens things to a list consisting of the null set.

I hope what I’m about to post isn’t too far off the subject of your thread but I just heard Larry Kudlow on ABC news and normally I like him but he was just so daft and so stupid on what Palin said regarding Reagan and “Bedtime for Bonzo” in response to a question put to her regarding Rove calling her “reality show” a disqualifier for her presidential ambitions.

It was very clear what Palin meant when she said what she said, and a couple of callers called up and very clearly explained to Kudlow what Palin very clearly meant... and he still didn’t get it.

He said he would wait for further “expansion of the remarks” or something like that, from Palin.

Kudlow, normally bright, was suddenly the dumbest dork on the planet.

What happens to these schmucks? Sometimes they just don’t WANT to get it!

good post

Democrats are the party of I Don’t Get It.

I learned years ago that liberals think emotionally and not linearly, so each defeat angers them and they make hasty wrong conclusions. They also choose to live in their liberal bubble and so they don’t know any conservatives. When a lib loses some power, they can’t even fathom that THEY might have slipped up or over-reached. It’s like trying to reason with fifth graders.

News people hide behind questions. Many times they have an opinion about something, but could get into trouble voicing it, so they frame it into a question. Then they always have the "just askin'" as an excuse if they're called on it.

It's a way to get a rumor started about some opinion they are pimping, and still retain plausible deniability if it backfires.

Questions are also used to get a dialogue started; to draw some opponent out with a remark that will spark controversy and - guess what - that gives them a lead story for the next edition.

Sometimes it's the "are you still beating your wife?" type question.

If they are any good at all, they know full-well obama "got the message", but they can't outwardly slam their messiah, or they won't get invited to any more WH parties...so, they use the question to imply.

And finally, the elections are over and they ratings have to be maintained, so anything they can stir up, is good for their circulation.

People use the question all the time, even here on FR, to stir response and establish dialog. Just throw a headline thread up there like "What do you think of Nancy Pelosi", and you'll get lots of responses.

If obama doesn't "get it" by now, then it just cements the supposition that he is uber-stupid and totally out of touch disinterested in what America thinks.

Party of Parasites, picked up on that billboard shown on FR, is the perfect handle for the Democratic Party.

The idea is to feed off the responsible productive individuals of our society, and drain them dry. And this can include a wide constituency, from public unions, to illegal immigrants, to lying politicians, to corrupt corporations, to just plain selfish lazy citizens.

The Soviet Union, like any Communistic entity, collapsed from a totally parasitic citizenry. Think Goldman-Sachs, Maddoff, etc.

Not that the establishment Republican Party will ever declare it. Thus the Tea Party.

I’ve been wondering for two years now if the media libs have been deceiving themselves or are mostly true believers who know what he’s doing and want him to take down the country?

When Jonah Goldberg published his masterpiece: “Liberal Fascism” he noted that very few liberals know the long, intertwined history of fascism/marxism/communism and its American offshoot of progressivism/liberalism/leftism; and what the real objectives and motivations of the puppet masters and their hardcore followers really are.

Most libs are raised and trained to believe a vague stew of warm, fuzzy precepts and fashionable prejudices and worship a few trendy causes. Almost none of them ever take the time to think through or seriously study the history of “the movement” and its ultimate objectives and what that would mean to all Americans if the real radicals got their way.

I don’t think most of them wanted to think in their heart of hearts that Obama really means to demolish this country and beggar us all. They keep thinking that he’s a conventional politician who will adapt to the changing circumstances. The worse things get the more libs realize they don’t live on another planet after all. In Obama’s ideal America there’s no place for independent journalists, unions, NGO’s, charities, lawyers or an entertainment industry.

Quite a few have already found out that their professions are not “recession-proof” after all. Recall actor Michael Douglas revealing in an interview for the new “Wall Street” movie that he had lost about 40% of the value of his investment portfolio? Already, a whole slew of fashionably leftist CEOs have found out the hard way that they cannot buy immunity from their hip, cool president and that buying a “seat at the table” does not prevent them from becoming an entree.

Democrats for a long time now have used incompetence as a defense for why you can’t blame them for anything.

In their mind it is okay to commit any wrong as long as you did so by error.

This way of thinking opens the door to all kinds of willful abuse and then later claim the defense of a bungling idiot.

Obama is currently using this as a historic defense for destroying America through bad economic policy.

Obama hates America and wants to bring her down. But once having done that Obama will never brag about it or admit it.
