Ok, I guess I have been out of the loop, who the heck is Oscar Grant?

Just a drunk guy who thought it would be fun to fight with the BART cops and ran into one who didn't know how to handle his weapon.

In the hierarchy of law enforcement officers, you have your university piglets, your mall cops, your BART cops, your BATFE agents, your armed private security guards and finally, your real law enforcement officers. The guy who ended the life of the intoxicated Mr. Grant was a BART cop. Somewhat tragic but more of an example of incompetence than racism.

I know he was a Bart cop, not a real one. However, I have come to believe he was just monumentally stupid and didn't shoot the guy on purpose. That is why there should be no mall cops or rent a cops unless they undergo the same training as real cops and even real cops are getting terrible about shooting the wrong people on no knock raids and killing family pets right and left.

The point is any number of young black males get killed by other blacks but no one riots if they are not sentenced harshly. As for the guy who was killed, Oakland if full of idiots who think it is fun to terrorize Bart riders, I used to have to ride Bart into SF and that was bad enough, I would never ride into Oakland unless I was armed to the teeth.

I think I might argue your ranking just a little. I would switch BATFE and armed security guards around. And you left out armored car drivers/guards. I would also separate law enforcement into 3...state troopers, county sheriff deputy, and city cops. County sheriff deputy at the top, state troopers at the bottom of those three.
