Bloggist does a good job of mocking the Esquire article out now that claims things like "Sure, he was cool and cerebral, but he was also confident, almost cocky, because he had the power to summon inspiring rhetoric on command, which meant that he had the power to summon us on command."

Inspiring rhetoric on command? LOL! On teleprompter maybe, and virtually all of his so called inspring rhetoric sounded like Harold Hill selling uniforms and instruments to form a boys band.
