also true...you never hope to lose, ie, it isn’t “good” that we lost the Senate.

But it isn’t a catastrophe either. And it does open up some different opportunities that would have been different had we won the Senate.....

OK...now think of it this way.
Senate positions were not on every states ballot. Not all the states voted for Senator positions this time around. House of Rep positions were;and look at the clean-up there.
Pretty sweet. In 2012, if the momentum is still rolling in 2 yrs and the populace is still feeling antsy about the performance (non-performance) of the remaining Senators, maybe the remainders will be cleared out and a new crop brought in.
Along with any elected today who don't tow the expected Conservative line.
