How many Pandigital tablets alone have sold?
Apple makes a nice, midrange tablet.
Apple doesn’t even have an entry in the low end, and while they will proba bly continue to outsell the high end devices - the budget tablets are rapidly taking over market dominance.

It would be brain-dead easy for Apple to scale the iPad down to 7” — smaller screen, remove one of the batteries, smaller case, and they’re done. If Jobs isn’t making one, it’s not because he’s scared of the competition, it’s because he doesn’t think they are any good.

Apple has 95 percent of tablet market: Strategy Analytics.
