A JILTED woman was yesterday jailed for three years for falsely accusing a businessman of raping her after drugging a Pringles crisp sandwich.
Bent on “devious revenge,” Kate Woodhead, 31, claimed Paul Joseph attacked her after giving her a snack laced with the sedative diazepam.
Later, she stole his Porsche 911 sports car, BMW motorbike and art works and valuables worth £25,000. Mr Joseph, 39, was arrested over the allegation and was on police bail for five months. But the case was dropped as suspicions grew that Woodhead, of Ripley, Surrey, had made it up.
Found guilty of perverting the course of justice, theft and fraud earlier this year, she was described as “devious, manipulative and wholly unrepentant” when sentenced at Guildford Crown Court yesterday.
And she's not in a burqa.
Moron.
